I have been on a roll lately with cleaning, organizing, reading and doing yard work. When Ethan naps its like I race to see how much I can get done and I actually feel great after. Today I mowed the front and back yard and I loved getting sweaty and the feeling of getting a great work out! I don't know what it is about mowing the yard lately but its like I feel on top of the world when I am done. I love the smell and look of the yard after its mowed and knowing I did it makes it even better! I am currently reading the book "Something Blue" by Emily Griffin and its fantastic. Props to my sis got me hooked on the series!!
I was able to read 60 pages of my book last night while I got a 1 1/2 hr long pedicure my wonderful hubby got me at a day spa. It was amazing!! Already a wonderful start to a 3 day weekend as I get to spend it with my boys and even more wonderful....AGGIE FOOTBALL!!!!!

Going home to San Antonio I love hanging with my gals!! Its so great to have such wonderful friends I have known almost my whole life!! We hope to someday be back in San Antonio to settle and stay there forever!! I enjoy eating lunch with my gals and drinks too!! There is a group of almost 15 girls from high school that even though we don't talk often we can catch up like those days were just yesterday!
So Ethan has had a runny nose for a week. He hasn't been too fussy until Sunday when he just was so sad looking and well not happy at all. I took him to the dr (note*probably the 10th time I have taken him for a runny nose in his 14 months of life) because he was just not himself. Low and behold he has a bad ear infection. Its so hard to tell with him because he never runs a fever with earaches. Our sweet lil man is such a trooper. He has to take yucky meds and here he is his giggly self getting booger suckered!!!
Ethan started walking on Friday, August 15th. Exactly 13 months(adjusted age) which is the same time I started to walk back in 1981:). Pretty cool!! He still crawls more than walking but he will walk to you down the hall and takes about 15-20 steps. He is so cute when he does it and gets so excited. His favorite things are giving high fives, playing peek aboo, putting food on his head(more details later), playing with any sort of hat and looking at himself in the mirror.
