While we evacuated for hurricane Ike we were able to celebrate grandmas birthday and also see our friend Aiden at Big Top Kidz!

"Back in the Groove"

We are officially back. Our computer got fixed and now we can blog again...YIPPEE! We have been really busy the past couple of weeks. Here is what we have been up to!

We had visitors on labor day weekend and also went to the beach. Here is Ethan and Reece hanging out! We also went to a bowling tournament for Big Brothers- Big Sisters which Kris and I are both in the process of becoming a big bro/big sis. It was fun and here is a picture of Ethan pretending he is on the phone and doing the ymca with daddy!

"Please help...Cookie monster has returned"

So since I don't have a computer because of big bad virus 2008, my cookie habits have begun yet again. I am back on the chocolate chip cookie binge. Three or four fresh baked cookies right out of the oven...who could resist. I am sick of cookie monster telling me everything taste like "cookie"....ahhhh. I dream of them. Please help, I need cookie counseling.

I have been playing mary poppins to my two boys. Ethan came down with a stomach bug on Monday and is still sick. Then Kris came home early from work(unheard of) because he has aches and pains and the same stomach bug. So I have been giving lots of tylenol and lots of love to both of them. I even went to the store to make Kris's favorite, homemade oatmeal cookies. However, I think cookie monster ate them all.
Then my computer came down with a big bad virus too. So I will be computer-less until I can get to San Antonio to take it to our computer guy. These virus' seem to stay with our family. This is Ethan's 3rd virus in 2 months! Poor lil guy! I guess since he was a preemie he has a weak immune system and seems to get the sickies. But as his dr says, "pay now or pay later" as hopefully when he starts some sort of mom's day out in a year or so he won't get as sick.
