Newest chef in town!

Well, so I am not a Gordon Ramsey but I am working on it! I made his Beef Wellington for an early Valentines dinner for Kris. I watched his video about 10 times on how to make it and have seen it made on hells kitchen, but just like the chef's on the show....mine had issues. It all tasted PERFECT...but the looks of it aren't that pretty. I bought filo dough instead of puff pastry and the filo dough just fell apart off of the beef. Other than that it was great!! We also had super yummy mashed potatoes with butter, cheese and chives and fresh corn with a basil vinegar sauce mixed in! Then finally for dessert the oh so yummy Bananas Foster which I have gotten really good at! I also made lil heart cakes earlier in the week with homemade cream cheese icing for friends and just for fun! I do not like to bake as much because I ate practically the entire tub of icing and had way to much sugar!
