Carter Joseph arrived early Saturday morning at 7:28am 6 lb 7 oz and 18.25 in long! He was born exactly at 37 weeks and we were so relieved he did not have to go into the NICU. My water broke at 2:30 am and because my platelets were too low I was not able to have an epidural but other than that it was smooth sailing. We got home the next day and Ethan is enjoying having a little brother around. Things have been a little hectic this week as Ethan got the stomach bug, then I got mastitis and now another infection so hopefully we are on the road to recovery....whew! Thank goodness my mom and mother in law were here to help and also my stroller strides friends are bringing meals the next 2 weeks.....yeah!!!

Ok - I am sure the people at the hospital were doubting you were far enough along to really be in labor - you were tiny!
